=about marathon training=
- near-constant feeling of pride and confidence in myself
- social time-- I see my friends five days a week for an hour minimum
- I burn enough calories to eat almost anything I want (example: after Saturday's 18, we took a family trip to get me a birthday cake milkshake-- yes, that was the ENTIRE purpose of the outing)

| totally earned this right here |
- the #10KTuesday marathon crew has our own chat thread where we talk about our training <3
- I have a big goal to focus on and work towards a little bit every day (and a training plan to take the guesswork/thinking out of it-- all I have to do is execute); I feel so accomplished every day
- Saturday long runs make 4mi days seem like nothing, #10KTuesdays seem like a walk in the park, and 9mi midweek workouts seem "moderate"
- getting to see new places on long runs (thanks, Atlanta Track Club route-makers!)
- endorphins = happiness
Shout-out to Jerry, who's been an absolute super-husband/super-dad/super-best friend through all of this and is taking great care of our house, our son, and us while I get to focus on training for the next eight weeks. I hope he's keeping a list of tips for me in Google Docs for when we switch roles for his marathon next fall... >_<
