I can really tell I need this stretching because things that shouldn't have been such good/deep stretches totally were.

Did: as scheduled = 6.28mi @ 9:27/mi avg, 20min Runner Yoga

Wanted to have a shot at the worst hill on Sunday's course ahead of Sunday, so we took 10KTuesday there. I got five times up the YMCA hill (including one warm-up climb), and it definitely felt just as awful as I thought it would.
Paces were good though: 8:32, 8:04, 8:35, 7:57
Wednesday
Planned: easy 5mi, 20min yoga
Did: 5.03mi @ 9:32/mi avg

I woke up this morning feeling like I hadn't run in a week. It's only been a day. lol. Today's intention was to get a feel for the first climb of the course, and build some confidence. I felt super strong going up the hill... until I looked at our near 10min pace. Ugh. Oh well.
Saturday
Planned: 30min yoga, maybe a walk
Did: a couple miles of walking, but nothing else
Did: a couple miles of walking, but nothing else
Today was rough. Between 7am and 9:30am, I was hit with a wave of complete fatigue so strong that I didn't even feel like I could get off the couch, where I was laying kind of asleep with eyes closed, to change the laundry in the basement. It was at that point that I decided I wouldn't be pushing the stroller for tomorrow's half and would be running solo not because I had a time goal, but because I literally didn't have the strength to push a stroller for 13.1mi.
Did my traditional pre-race "eat like crap", napped for a few hours in the middle of the day, and took the older kid to a Halloween thing at night... totally set myself up for success there. But, hey, sometimes that works for me?
Sunday
Planned: 1mi WU, 13.11mi race, 1mi CD
Did: 1mi WU @ 10:16/mi avg, Alpharetta Women's Half, no CD, 30min yoga
Total Weekly Mileage: 27.9
Week-ending Thoughts:
Meh?
