Week-beginning Thoughts:
Three weeks 'til the half marathon I signed up for last year. I wrote myself a training plan, but just don't have the motivation to execute or try. I think I'm just working on progressing too many things right now to want to work at marathoning or training.
Monday
Did: MBFW1 Upper
Crazy hungry today, and ate so many granola bars from work :P
Legs are soo sore from yesterday's lifting. This makes me happy.
Had a crazy day, but still hit up the weights for my upper body after putdown.
Tuesday
DId: 6.3mi @ 9:39/mi avg
Easy 10K with the crew
Wednesday
Did: 1mi WU, 3mi tempo, 1mi CD = 5.18mi @ 8:41/mi avg
I'm starting to get into a routine for my off Wednesdays and have a route to run after daycare drop-off, which is great.
Miles felt so easy. It's nice to feel confident again: 9:08/ 8:37/ 8:20/ 8:06 /9:06
Thursday
Did: 2mi WU, 4x400, 2x200, 1.66mi CD = 6.36mi @ 8:52/mi avg
Today was the first arm sleeves day of the season. Hooray, cooler weather. I opted for a shorter track workout, thinking I'd do 4x400.
1:38- felt easy?
1:43- didn't feel slower than the first lap, but was by a good bit

Not the greatest splits, but I also had 9:22 as my slowest "recovery" 400 pace, so obviously this weather is impacting me a lot. I'm sure I could've done them faster if I'd actually recovered.
I didn't feel like I'd reached a point where the workout pushed me into productive mode, so I tacked on 2x200 at the end (46 and 47s, respectively), which made me feel proud and accomplished for the day.

OMG, today was just ideal running weather. So much joy in these miles today.
