Week-beginning Thoughts:
I'm supposed to start mile training today... but I'm totally not in the mood. Gonna take the week to run, figure out which Beachbody-on-Demand program to do next, determine what my life will look like for the next two months, and maaaaaaybe decide to do mile training next week?

Monday
Did: 4.1mi stroller run @ 8:59/mi avg
I do NOT do well when plans/situations change on the fly. To cope, I went for a run with my little, and ran relatively fast.

Tuesday
Did: Morning Meltdown 100 Sample Workout, 10KTuesday @ 8:38/mi avg
I'm looking for another Beachbody on Demand program to start, so I tried the sample workout from Morning Meltdown 100 today. Not a fan. :P
Did 10KTuesday with my husband over lunch. Definitely a fan of that.

Wednesday
Did: The Prep Sample Workout, 4mi @ 9:35/mi avg
After a chat with one of my Fit4Mom friends and my Beachbody Coach, I'm leaning towards doing a four week program called The Prep. Four days a week, I'll be doing 30-40min of "muscle building" through compound lifts (yay), agility drills (blegh), fat-burning cardio (like I don't get enough of that?), and mobility exercises (probably worth my time).
I'm also going to try to actually execute the Beachbody nutrition plan for those four weeks, just to give it a fair shake. NOT excited about that, but, hey, "abs are made in the kitchen". I signed up for another round of my Beachbody Coach's accountability group, since this one focuses on nutrition, and hope that'll help.
Lots of feelings today. Lots of stress. I got really irritable late in the day because I wanted to mindlessly munch on Triscuits. :P Eventually went for a run... not to earn Triscuits, but to earn an extra yellow container so I could have wine. lol.
For no reason at all, I decided to play with heartrate on the run, and see if I could keep myself within Zone 3 the whole time. I had to run a LOT slower than I wanted to (by feel, not pace-- pace, oddly enough, shook out right where I'd expect it to), but it gave me something to focus on for the four miles.

Thursday
Did: 5K run @ 9:35/mi avg
Got up and out for a run this morning, and then re-committed to my container nutrition plan for the day.
Also treated myself to another sample workout, from Power Half Hour, which was a nice variation from what I'll be doing next week with The Prep.

Friday
Did: 4mi @ 9:09/mi avg
Um, I'm writing this on Sunday and have no idea when/why/how this run happened...

Saturday
Did: 10mi @ 9:39/mi avg
Enjoyed another family ten miler, then spent the day finishing up my home carpentry project (I'm building a reading nook in en suite) and hanging out outside. While it's quite a bit different from my usual pre-dawn long runs with teammates, I'm actually really loving the past eight weeks of Saturday long runs with my family. :)

Sunday
Did: 4.15mi total @ 8:18/mi avg, Big 5, and probably some type of walk at some point
Total Weekly Mileage: 35.6mi
Week-ending Thoughts:
- Feeling strong after another solid week of mileage
- Oddly feeling good about this new eating plan too? Took a few days to get used to it, but I think I'm gonna be alright ;)
- Not entirely thrilled about starting The Prep tomorrow, but it's only four weeks, right?
- Grateful, as always, that I can do this athletics thing
