Week-beginning Thoughts:
I just want a normal week without travel or any "out of the ordinary" events. I just feel like I've been traveling SO MUCH lately. Even if it's fun, it's still stressful.
Monday
Planned: MBFW2 Lower
Tuesday
Planned: ONB 10KTuesday
Did: 6.64mi @ 9:51/mi avg, 2mi trick-or-treat walk
Of course, I dressed up as Road Runner for this Halloween run. :) I hope I made some commuters' days on their way into the office. Pretty proud, too, of the 10:04/mi avg pace for the out followed by the 8:28 avg pace for the "back".
Wednesday
Planned: MBF W2 Core 1 and W2 Upper, plus 1mi WU, Ladder mile/800/400/200 with 400m recoveries, 1mi CD
Did: as scheduled = 4.83mi @ 8:03/mi avg
I did this on the track around the soccer field my kid practices on, and seriously doubt that my GPS was accurate. Between both watches, I was still running WAY faster than usual. Probably a short track + wonky GPS that gave me more distance than it ought to have...
WU: 8:51/mi avg
Mile: 7:27/mi
800: 3:28 (6:44/mi)
400: 1:40 (6:35)
200: 0:45 (6:29)
Still proud for getting it done.
Thursday
Planned: easy 5
Did: 5.10 @ 9:51/mi avg
Yep. Easy 5 it was.
Friday
Planned: MBFW2 Upper
Did: MBFW2 Total
Yay, getting work in.
Saturday
Planned: rest day or a few stroller miles
Did: MBF W2 Core 2, 1.41mi stroller @ 10:01/mi avg
Worked in the morning, then got a core workout in, because I couldn't not do ANYTHING. Midway through the morning, I realized I'd actually signed up to stroller run tomorrow's half. Ew.
My little one wanted to come with me, so I agreed to try a short run with him through the hills around our house. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I definitely was not in the mood to run 13 miles like that with the stroller.
Sunday
Planned: half marathon @ solid effort
Did: 13.25mi @ 8:59/mi avg
Nailed it. Race Report: Alpharetta Women's Half 2023
Total Weekly Mileage: 31.2
Week-ending Thoughts:
- I'm proud of myself.
