Grateful that, while I might not be physically capable of speedwork, I can still run moderate mileage without pain.
Monday
Scheduled: walk or MBF
Did: 3.11mi @ 9:33/mi avg
Planned on a stroller walk/run with my littlest, but forgot the stroller at home this morning. Stopped off and just did a solo run myself instead to get miles/stress relief in.
Tuesday
Scheduled: 10KTuesday
Did: 6.3mi @ 9:49/mi avg
Enjoyable run with friends, followed by a family track meet in the evening. Highlight of the night was my oldest wanting to run the mile, and PRing.
Wednesday
Scheduled: 3mi easy
Did: PT, 4mi walking, 3x10min strength sessions
Instead of a run today, I had my first PT appointment for this pesky arch sensation. Diagnosis is "weak foot intrinsic muscles" and treatment is a few strengthening exercises and some dry needling. I feel like a "real runner" having finally gone through this dry needling process, and hope it helps.
Thursday
Scheduled: 1mi WU, 6x400/400, 1mi CD
Did: 5.09mi easy @ 9:40/mi avg
PT said no hard running, so I was happy to get in some easy miles today.
Friday
Scheduled: oops- never finished writing my plan! nothing on this date
Did: 3.1mi @ 10:04/mi avg on treadmill + 3mi walk
Felt sluggish and only did easy treadmill miles after work.
Saturday
Scheduled: 11mi with a couple 1mi pushes
Did: 10.15mi @ 9:44/mi avg
Easy mileage with some distance. Dropped the pushes and elected to aim for only 10 since I'd run on Monday.
Sunday
Scheduled: 5mi easy
Did: 4.3mi with stroller @ 9:07/mi avg
Bit of a Mothers Day tempo/progression run 'cause the weather felt amazing, we had En Lo Profundo from Encanto blaring for my little one, and I wanted to try my arch. Nothing during the run, so we'll see what happens this evening/tomorrow.
