(not my) Marathon Pre-Training: Week 2/4

Week-beginning Thoughts:

None


Monday
Did: MBF Week 1 Core, Week 1 Total Body
Core with the kids in the morning, and then weights when they left. 


Tuesday
Did: 10KTuesday @ 9:36/mi avg
Mmmm, easy miles. :)


Wednesday
Did: 7.04mi solid @ 8:51/mi avg
Thought about getting in a workout post-kids' bedtime... but didn't feel energized/into it, so I went to bed early instead.

Thursday
Did: MBF W2 Core 1, 4mi walk, MBF W2 Legs
My 4am alarm came... and i turned it off and slept more. Ah, the perks of not having an accountability partner for a morning workout :P 


Friday
Did: 5.07mi @ 9:24/mi avg
Nice easy miles.


Saturday
Did: 13.26 @ 9:25/mi avg
Rouuuuuuuuuugh night of sleep (or lack there of), but still got up and enjoyed a fun half marathon training run. Considered lifting in the afternoon, but crashed over kid's attempted nap.


Sunday
Did: 5.46mi with single stroller @ 9:25/mi avg
A morning zoo trip necessitated an early morning run. I gave my oldest the option of coming with me, and was thrilled by their decision. I don't know how many more times they'll want to come with me, and truly value every single stroller run with my baby/babies. 

Might try to do some lifting in a bit if everyone's still asleep after I finish blogging... 




Total Weekly Mileage: 37.2


Week-ending Thoughts:
  • First week back in the office = HARD to find time for strength training
  • Loving these longer miles, though
