Thursday
Did: WU, 4x200/200, 4min recovery, 4x200/200, CD = 5.55mi @ 9:32/mi avg

This was the perfect return to the track workout. 200s are short enough to push, but not quite to the "make it hurt" phase when you're not pushing super hard.

Friday
Did: 1mi walk, worrrrrrk

Saturday
Did: 11.15mi @ 9:52/mi avg
Early pre-dawn run near the river was absolute serenity. We had plans for "10-12", and I opted to cut when we got back to the cars to give myself a little more time before dashing off to another event.

Sunday
Did: LIIFTMore Shoulders, Back/Chest + 4.07mi @ 8:56/mi avg in the rain
Lazy morning, but I made things happen and feel good about what I got done. Now I'm enjoying chilling out in joggers and a pullover with a cup of hot tea. :)

Sunday, April 7, 2024

Spring Break

Week-Beginning Thoughts:
Single-parenting week :)

Monday
Did: 4.05mi @ 9:25/mi avg, 2mi walk, LIIFTMore

Tuesday
Did: 3.28mi on treadmill @ 9:21/mi avg, 1mi walk, chorus
Did NOT feel like running today, but proud I made SOMETHING happen

Wednesday
Did: 2.0mi @ 9:02/mi avg + 8.05mi @ 9:22/mi avg = 10.05mi @ 9:18/mi avg
Wanted a double digit run today, and made it happen in pieces. :D

Thursday
Did: LIIFTMore Legs, 1mi treadmill walk, some hiking with kiddo
Felt a weird Achilles soreness on the treadmill walk?

Friday
Did: 4.04mi with stroller @ 9:05/mi avg
Achilles didn't bother me enough to not run with my baby at the river. I was surprised how fast I was running with a stroller in 10mph winds too.

Saturday
Did: 7.52mi @ 9:53/mi avg
I cut this 10mi run off a bit early since my ankle felt a bit tight. Figured it was better to have a slightly sore Achilles than an inflamed and painful one.

Sunday
Did: 1.06mi @ 9:29/mi avg + LIIFTMore arms and core
Achilles is still a little sore, but only when I'm trying to pay attention to it. Got a single easy mile in to enjoy weather, but today was mostly about lifting. I'm pretty proud to have advanced from 2lb on some exercises up to 10lb within the past few months :D

Total Weekly Mileage: 30

Week-Ending Thoughts:
Is this what my life as a SAHM could look like? 'cause it's pretty amazing...besides the whole "money is only going OUT of our bank account" thing. lol
